From 1 October 2012 we have been recruiting for training contracts starting in August 2015 and February 2016.
We usually interview law students in August, and successful candidates then join us as trainee solicitors two or three years later. New trainees will join us in either August or February.
Applications from law students should be submitted by 31 July 2013. Penultimate year law students should wait until they have their second year examination results before submitting their application.
We consider law candidates as those who are studying for, or have completed, a law degree in England or Wales.

We normally interview non-law applicants from January to May and have now finished recruiting non-law applications for August 2014 and February 2015. We screen non-law training contract applications on a rolling basis – we do not wait until after the deadline to review applications.
We consider non-law candidates as those who have completed, or are required to complete, part of or the full GDL prior to the LPC.
Applications for our August 2015 and February 2016 training contracts opened on 1 October 2012.

We offer winter, summer and spring vacation schemes, and all applications opened on 1 October 2012.
Our 2012 winter scheme for final year non-law students and graduates took place from 10 – 21 December 2012. Applications closed on 2 November 2012, and the assessment days took place in November. We will review applications on a rolling basis from 1 October onwards. We will be accepting applications for the 2013 winter vacation scheme rom 1 October 2013.
Our 2013 spring vacation scheme for first year law students will take place from 8-12 April 2013, and applications will close on 15 February 2013. We will be accepting applications for the 2014 spring vacation scheme from 1 October 2013.
Our two summer vacation schemes will take place from 24 June – 12 July 2013 and 15 July – 2 August 2013. The application deadline of 18 January 2013 is now closed. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and we do not wait until the end of the assessment process to offer places on the schemes to successful candidates. We will be accepting applications for the 2014 summer vacation scheme from 1 October 2013.
First year open days
In addition to the spring vacation scheme, we run two first year open days each year. The 2013 events will take place on Tuesday 26 March 2013 and Tuesday 2 July 2013.
Applications for these closed on 15 February 2013. We will be accepting applications for the 2014 first year open days from 1 October 2013.
Online critical thinking test
All candidates who are successful at the application stage for all our opportunities are required to complete an online critical thinking test. Candidates who are then invited to attend an assessment day will complete a different version of the test on the day.
