Post-qualification
Your intense training doesn’t end when you qualify. There’s a focus on continued professional development throughout the firm, with a particular emphasis on legal expertise, practice knowledge and business skills.
After qualification, emphasis is placed on developing business and management skills together with training for your chosen practice stream. We also support the ongoing advancement of legal skills within specific practice areas, and our legal education programmes will provide resources on the law, and legal developments within your particular practice stream.
Foundation programmes for newly qualified lawyers will give you a more in-depth understanding of the work encountered in your practice area. Foundation events often involve delegates from around the world getting together for a three-to-five day training course. They provide a valuable opportunity to meet colleagues from other offices and to participate in an intensive, practice-specific training programme.
