Actions not words

We know the only way to live up to our philosophy of Defined by Difference is to practice what we preach. That starts with putting words into action. We do not tick boxes. We seek out different people and different perspectives, and work hard at creating a culture where everyone feels included, no matter who they are, or where they are from.

Diversity makes us better as a firm and is a deeply held commitment by everyone who works here. It’s our greatest strength. We want the best people -  regardless of background - working on our client’s challenges. That’s why you can count on being nurtured, engaged and empowered to be yourself and receive all the support you need to flourish.

DIVERSITY ACHIEVEMENTS

The numbers we’re proud of

A caring culture

Your wellbeing

Working in law means you’ll often be working in high-pressure environments. It’s an inevitable part of taking on challenging problems and delivering pioneering solutions. At Hogan Lovells, your wellbeing is always our number one priority. We have a comprehensive wellbeing programme to support every colleague, especially when you first join us.

Our Trainee Development team provide pastoral care, guidance and resources to support your mental health and wellbeing to whatever level you require. You’ll also have access to firm-wide wellbeing programmes that cover everything from financial advice to physical wellbeing and we have dedicated programmes tailored to every stage in your career with us.

An image description

The firm makes a huge investment in its people - that investment starts when you join as a trainee and continues throughout your career at the firm. That support is not just to develop technical legal skills, but also the other skills necessary to be successful and reflect the changing nature of your career as you become more senior.
